A Well-Fed World is a hunger relief and animal protection organization chipping away at two of the world’s most immense, unnecessary and unconscionable forms of suffering… the suffering of people hungry from lack of food, and the suffering of animals used and abused for food.

The 2017 Vegan SoulFest

Located at Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) 2901 Liberty Heights Avenue Baltimore, Maryland 21215
The festival will take place inside the college itself and outside on the college grounds.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Non-service animals are not allowed on the campus.
Metro: Exit at the Mondawmin Mall stop. Take bus 22 northbound for 4 blocks at Liberty Heights and Druid Park Drive. Vegan SoulFest will be across the street from the bus stop at the BCCC campus.
Buses: 22, 52, 97
Free parking will be available on the BCCC campus and in the overflow lot 1 block south on Liberty Heights Avenue.
DO NOT PARK IN THE PARKING LOT ACROSS THE STREET AT THE PALLADIUM OR YOU MIGHT BE TOWED!

Brenda N. Sanders
Co-founder and Co-organizer
Brenda Sanders serves as Executive Director of Better Health, Better Life, a public health organization and is Co-Director of Open the Cages Alliance, an animal advocacy organization in Baltimore, MD.
Through Better Health, Better Life, Brenda runs the Eating for Life program, a series of free workshops aimed at teaching people in low-income communities how to live a healthier, more holistic lifestyle. With Open the Cages Alliance, she co-organizes the Vegan Living Program, a six-week education program that teaches the basics of transitioning to the vegan lifestyle.
Brenda also a founding member of PEP Foods, Inc., a collective vegan activists and vegan business owners in Baltimore City who are working towards food justice . She also organizes the Veganism Support Group, a monthly potluck and discussion group for new and aspiring vegans. In her spare time, Brenda helps to organize social justice events and demonstrations in the Baltimore area.
Co-founder and Co-organizer
Naijha Wright is the Co-owner of and Director of Marketing for The Land of Kush, a vegan soul food restaurant located in Baltimore, MD.
Through Naijha’s strategic marketing initiatives the restaurant experienced exponential growth within four years of opening. She develops relationships and collaborates with local businesses, non-profit organizations, and schools and churches who share in the mission of promoting dietary, ethical, or environmental veganism. Naijha also co-founded and organizes Vegan SoulFest, an annual vegan festival catered to Baltimore’s inner city communities. Ms. Wright has spoken and made appearances at radio stations, schools and community events throughout Maryland and Washington, D.C.
